Class of 2023

Faith.JPG

Faith

Faith, a graduate of Culver City High, rowed with RowLA for three years. More than any other teammate in our history, Faith has been instrumental in growing our RowLA family by encouraging 7 athletes to join the team.

Seattle Pacific University is lucky to count Faith as one of their new rowers this fall. She will major in Psychology.

Go Falcons!

Giulia

Giulia joined RowLA after attending our Thanksgiving camp in 2020. She quickly rose to the competitive level and served as co-captain this past year.

A graduate of El Segundo High School, Giulia is heading to UCLA this fall as a Computational and Systems Biology major. She will try out for the rowing team as a walk-on.

Good luck Giulia!

Go Bruins!

Marina

Marina got hooked on rowing many years ago after RowLA did a demonstration at her middle school, and she stuck with it throughout her time at Santa Monica High School. She didn't let an injury keep her away from the team last year. Instead, she switched to an important leadership role as our first-string coxswain.

Marina is off to Parsons School of Design at the New School, majoring in Illustration.

While Parsons does not have a rowing team, it does boast an awesome water-related mascot.

Go Narwhals!

Sydney

Sydney joined RowLA as a middle schooler and excelled with the team throughout her years at Mira Costa High School.

As a sophomore and junior, Sydney was the first-place qualifier in the USA for the women’s U19 500m sprints and she placed top 10 at the World Indoor Rowing Championships both years.

She has parlayed her impressive rowing skills into a place on the D1 rowing team at Lehigh University, where she will major in Biology.

Go Mountain Hawks!
